450W for the days that drain your battery
Some trips need 200W to top up a phone. Others — overlanding weeks, off-grid homesteads, a dead-grid emergency — need a panel that can refill a large portable power station in a single day. That is what the NEJoye S450 Pro was built for: 450W of foldable monocrystalline output that packs into a carry bag roughly the size of a small suitcase.
Unfolded, the S450 Pro measures 220 × 145 cm — a wall of cells that catches more light than two 200W panels while taking up the same trunk space when folded. Weighed at about 12.8 kg (28.2 lb), it is serious gear: heavier than a day-hike panel, but carried in one bag with one handle, and it earns its weight in watts.
36V output, four plugs, no adapter hunt
High-capacity portable power stations charge fastest when the solar input sits in the 24–48V window, and the S450 Pro works at 36V (voltage is customizable per supplier — verify for your SKU). To make connection effortless, the box includes four interchangeable DC plugs: 5.5×2.1 mm, 7.9×0.9 mm, XT60, and 5.5×2.5 mm. Snap on the tip your station takes and you are charging — no extra adapters, no compatibility guesswork.
Planning to run a 12V battery bank instead? Use an MPPT charge controller (not included) between the panel and the battery for efficient, safe charging — MPPT controllers extract significantly more energy than simple PWM units, especially in variable light.
Need more than 450W? Two S450 Pro panels can be wired in series or in parallel to double your array (a Y-type MC4 parallel adapter is sold separately for the parallel setup). Check your power station's maximum solar input voltage and current before connecting two panels.
Monocrystalline cells, ETFE protection, up to 25.3% cell efficiency (verify)
The S450 Pro is built on monocrystalline silicon — the same cell family used in high-end residential arrays — with an efficiency of up to 25.3% at the cell level. The cells are laminated between layers of ETFE (the UV-stable fluoropolymer film used in architectural glazing) and EVA, with a protective backsheet. The result is a panel that stays transparent to sunlight for years, shrugs off rain, dust, and abrasion, and holds its output better at high temperature than older panel constructions.
The 30–40° rule
Sunlight that hits a panel at an angle reflects off instead of being absorbed. Measured under standard test conditions (verify), the S450 Pro delivers about 65% of rated output laid flat (0°), climbs to 90–100% when tilted 30–40°, and drops to about 40% when held vertical (90°). That is why the panel ships with ten mounting hooks: hang it from a rail or rope, lean it against a stand (sold separately or DIY), or lay it flat when there is nowhere better to go — and get close to full output whenever the sun is high.
Where the S450 Pro fits
●RV & van life — hang it on the vehicle's side or rear rack, or set it flat on the tailgate, and refill your station while you sleep.
●Overlanding & long trips — 450W in a carry bag means multi-day autonomy without a generator's noise and fuel.
●Emergency & off-grid — a fast, silent way to restore power to lights, radios, phones, and medical devices when the grid goes down.
●Homestead & garden — a deployable array for workshops, sheds, and seasonal outdoor power.
How to use the S450 Pro
1. Unfold: Open the panels on a clean, level surface and face the cell side toward the sun.
2. Position: Tilt the panel 30–40° toward the sun for 90–100% of rated output; use a stand, lean it, or hang it on the included hooks.
3.Connect: Fit the DC plug your power station or charge controller requires (four plugs included) and switch on.
4. Fold: At the end of the day, fold the panels into the carry bag, close it, and carry out by the handle.
What's in the box
NEJoye S450 Pro 450W foldable solar panel, carry bag, 4 universal DC plugs (5.5×2.1, 7.9×0.9, XT60, 5.5×2.5), 10 mounting hooks, user manual. 2-year limited warranty. (Cables for specific devices, charge controllers, stands, and the Y-type MC4 parallel adapter are not included.)
Care and safety
● Keep the panel clean: wipe dust and debris with a soft, damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners.
● Do not force the panels open or closed when frozen or when sand is trapped between them.
● Store the panel folded in its bag, out of prolonged direct UV when not in use.
● When pairing with a power station, match the panel's 36V working voltage to the station's solar input range; for 12V batteries use an MPPT charge controller.
● Inspect plugs and connectors periodically for damage, especially after rough travel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What can I power with the S450 Pro? It is a solar panel, so it does not store power — it feeds a portable power station or a charge controller. At 450W it can refill large 1–3kWh stations in a single day of good sun, and power laptops, lights, coolers, and communication devices for extended off-grid use.
Q2: What plugs come in the box? Four universal DC plugs: 5.5×2.1 mm, 7.9×0.9 mm, XT60, and 5.5×2.5 mm. Fit the one your power station or controller requires — no adapter needed for most popular stations.
Q3: Can I use it with a 12V battery? Yes, with an MPPT charge controller (not included) between the panel and the battery. MPPT charging is far more efficient than PWM, especially in changing light.
Q4: Can I connect two S450 Pro panels? Yes — in series or parallel. For parallel, a Y-type MC4 adapter is sold separately. Check your power station's maximum solar input voltage and current first.
Q5: How does angle affect output? Under standard test conditions (verify): flat (0°) ≈65% of rated output; 30–40° tilt ≈90–100%; vertical (90°) ≈40%. Tilt toward the sun whenever possible.
Q6: How big is it folded? Approximately 50 × 60 × 6 cm and 12.8 kg (28.2 lb) (verify) — the size of a small suitcase, carried by a single padded handle.
